Showtime for Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland at the London Motorcycle Show!
Oxford (11 February 2013) - Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland is to attend the new look Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show, 15-17 February 2013, at ExCel London. The Harley-Davidson® exhibition stand (Stand M40, next to the main central Revolution display) will feature a selection of 2013 models from the Touring, Dyna, Softail, Sportster and V-Rod ranges.
From the latest 2013 Sportster XL 1200 Custom models, to favourites such as the revised Street Glide and the powerful V-Rod custom cruiser Night Rod Special, these bikes and more will be on the Harley-Davidson exhibition stand for all the family to see. Also to feature are machines adorned in the truly stunning Hard Candy Custom metal flake paint schemes – a display to turn heads of all motorcycling fans.
The Harley-Davidson exhibition stand will incorporate two exciting themes: the celebration of Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary, and the Art of Custom. As part of the global 110th Anniversary celebrations, visitors to the Harley-Davidson stand also get the chance to win an exclusive commemorative 110th Anniversary leather jacket by way of an easy-to-enter prize draw. A display of graffiti artist signature graphics and bespoke custom-painted petrol tanks will sit alongside selected dealership-customised Harley-Davidson motorcycles to represent the Art of Custom.
An additional attraction at this year’s show is Custom: ExCel, where you will find a large display of superb customised motorcycles from competition-winning custom houses from around Europe and ‘custom’ exhibitors. Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland will also be actively supporting the official UK round of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building competition with sponsorship of the Modified Harley class.
Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland is sponsoring the ‘Modified Harley’ class of the competition with a prize of £1,250 awarded to the winner to assist with travel and accommodation in order to compete at the World Finals of the World Championship of Custom Bike Building in Essen, Germany in May. Trophies and prizes will also be awarded to the remaining placed finalists.
Judges for the competing classes will consist of competition entrants, VIPs and selected specialist media to be announced on the day with the results announced at a live presentation event within the Custom Zone at 5pm on Sunday 17 February.
And there’s even more good news for Harley-Davidson fans attending the show. Entry tickets at the doors of ExCel London for the show are £20 per adult. However, advance bookings online nets a 20% discount, and booked as a group of four or more a further 10% reduction will apply to drop admission cost to a fantastic £14.40 per ticket.
