Oxford (06 June 2012) - Earlier this month, motorcycle enthusiasts from far and wide thundered into Leeds for the grand opening of the city’s new Harley-Davidson® dealership. The launch, which took place on 2-3 June, attracted more than 850 visitors from all over the country during the weekend.
As part of the opening celebrations, dealership co-owners Shahzad Ahmed and cousin Sohail Khan organised ride-outs, a trike display, custom bike show, a custom paint display courtesy of the Eight Ball custom paintwork team and a rodeo bull. In addition, there was face painting and games for the children and visitors could take advantage of the tasty barbecue and other refreshments. There was even a special ride-in from the Newcastle and Aire Valley UK H.O.G.® Chapters!
A number of live bands performed over the two days – Chainsaw and Big Picture took centre stage on Saturday, while Street Legal were popular on Sunday.
The fully refurbished store reopened on 12 May and has already proved a big hit with local riders. As well as displaying a number of new and used Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, the dealership has full workshop facilities and a huge range of Genuine Parts, Accessories and MotorClothes®.
