Custom Motorcycle Show rolls into Beaulieu

Oxford (07 March 2012) - Customisation is an important part of the Harley-Davidson® lifestyle and is a major part of the overall ownership experience. Enthusiasts can choose from a catalogue of more than 8,000 Harley-Davidson® Genuine Parts and Accessories from lighting and trims to windshields and paint kits, to really stand out from the crowd and make their Harley® truly their own.

In a celebration of all things custom, the iconic motorcycle manufacturer is supporting this year’s Custom Motorcycle Show, which is a UK affiliate event for the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building. The prestigious two-wheel event, which this year takes place alongside the Beaulieu Custom Car and Hot Rod Festival on 16-17 June, is renowned for showcasing some of the crème de la crème in custom motorcycle design and annually attracts thousands of spectators from all over the country.

Each year, winners of the UK heat go on to face the global grand final at the infamous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, USA. Past victors include Shaw Harley-Davidson, who went on to clinch the coveted World Custom Championship trophy in 2010 with its ‘Strike True II’ creation – a stunning customised 2010 Harley-Davidson Softail® Cross Bones® motorcycle. As well as being a springboard for budding custom motorcycle competitors, it also provides the perfect inspiration for spectators wanting to customise their own motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson UK Genuine Motor Accessories® is officially supporting the Best Modified Harley-Davidson category at this year’s show, which is expected to attract more than 70 custom bikes. The Best in Show bike will also receive £5,000 towards their entry into the world final.

Tickets to the Custom Motorcycle Show are priced at £20 per day, but discounts are available for H.O.G.® members and riders of custom and modified bikes. Please click here to book your tickets.
