Oxford (20 November 2012) - At the start of November, twelve members of the Harley-Davidson Europe team discarded their razors in favour of the ‘au naturale’ look, and have been growing their facial hair as part of the infamous Movember event.
“ Movember has become popular in the UK over recent years and is a unique way to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health.
Konain Saif, Team Captain of ‘Harley-Davidson tashes
’, said: “We’re really excited to raise as much money and awareness as possible for this great cause. It is fantastic that so many of the staff have got involved and we’ve been able to form our team. The fundraising has started brilliantly and we’re not finished yet!
“We’ll be keeping our profiles up-to-date with pictures throughout our hair-growing mission too so keep checking them to see how we are all getting on! A big thanks to all the staff taking part: Allan Brownridge, Steve Kelly, Paul Butler, Guy Whitehead, David Marriott, Rob Lindley, Paul Sweeney, David Macpherson, Guy Whitehead, Rojen Amatya, Chichi Rocco Chong and Jeremy Pick.”

And, it’s not just the staff at Harley-Davidson Europe that are taking part, some dealerships are getting involved too, including staff from Lakeside Harley-Davidson, who will be embracing having fuzzy faces and have embarked on growing their ‘mos’. They will be celebrating with a prize giving and celebration event on Saturday 1 December at the Essex-based dealership.
