Harley-Davidson is back in Northern Ireland

Oxford (29 October 2012) - Motorcycle riders in Northern Ireland had something to celebrate on 27 October as Belfast Harley-Davidson opened its doors. All motorcyclists were invited to the party featuring live acoustic music, a HOG roast and the chance to take a demo ride on one of the motorcycles on offer.

As if that wasn’t enough, the dealership was visited by special guest and Isle of Man TT-legend, Guy Martin, who was more than happy to pose for pictures with staff and customers.

The showroom, which has new owners, has opened on the site of the former Provincewide dealership and has retained many of the existing staff, including Kieran Wilson who is taking over as the new Dealer Principal.

Kieran said: “Opening Belfast Harley-Davidson has been a real labour of love for us and it got to the point where we simply couldn’t wait to get the doors of the dealership back open. The launch weekend was such a great event and we had a massive turn out including familiar faces and new ones too. On a quick count there must have been well over 2000 people over the course of the weekend.

“A massive thanks to the team for their efforts, our HOG Chapter and the volunteers who helped out on the day. It was fantastic of Guy to come down and visit too, he was just great and had time for everyone. Even though the open weekend is over we’re looking forward to running the dealership day-to-day and holding plenty more events here to welcome people into the Belfast Harley-Davidson family.”
