Oxford (08 August 2011) - Following its unrivalled success at the AMD Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building, ‘Strike True II’ is making its UK debut in Manchester. The customised Harley-Davidson Softail Crossbones motorcycle, which was created by Shaw Harley-Davidson, clinched victory at the event held in Sturgis in 2010, and can now be seen as part of a special exhibit at the Customising, Culture & Harley-Davidson exhibit at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI).
The victorious bike features a number of modifications, including a hand-made rear fender, fabricated petrol tank, 1940s style speedster handlebars and custom paintwork.
The Customising, Culture & Harley-Davidson exhibit at MOSI runs until 11 September and tickets cost £8 for an adult, £2 for children, (under 5s go free), with concessions also available. Tickets can be purchased from the Information Desk in the Great Western Warehouse, at Ticketmaster or by calling 0844 847 2261.
