Rev up for Ireland’s Bike Fest 2011

Killarney (22 March 2011) - The Emerald Isle had better be prepared.. This June will see the fifth annual Irish Bike Fest in Killarney and more than 7,000 riders and enthusiasts are expected to roar into town.

Running from 3-6 June, the order of the day will be music, motorbikes and madness, with a huge list of activities to pack into the long weekend.

Whether you’re coming for the cool custom machines, the camaraderie, the demo rides or just the atmosphere, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Not only is it completely open and free to attend, but will include a parade; custom bike show; a Bike Village; a technical area offering full-service and tyre change facilities; authorised Harley-Davidson® dealers and much more!

The Bike Village will be a huge hit with all Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, because if bikes are your passion, this is where you need to be. Ride outs, test rides, shops, stalls, food and drinks, it’s a dream come true for anyone who eats, sleeps and dreams two-wheels.

If you want to show off your stunning handiwork or admire others’ talents, then the custom bike show will be unmissable. A wide range of classes includes Best Harley®, Best classic/vintage and Ladies of Harley.

Killarney is perfectly placed for exploring Ireland’s beautiful countryside and a series of planned ride outs will be open to all – just get on and go with your new group of friends.

There will also be a trader area packed with professionals showcasing products and perfect for a spot of retail therapy and don’t forget this is a family event – not only is bringing the kids encouraged, they’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to having fun. From exciting activities to opportunities to ‘ride’ some of the mean machines, there’s no danger of them getting bored.
